FAQ

One might imagine that renting a machine often seems more difficult than it is, which is why we list the most frequently asked questions below.

As an existing customer you can reserve/order a machine either via the website or by email. Veuillez toujours indiquer l’adresse de livraison, la durée de location et la personne de contact. Please always indicate the delivery address, rental period and contact person.

As a new customer, you must first apply to become a customer via email or the website. This can be done via the ‘new customer’ button at the top of the website or by sending an email to info@deryckeverhuur.be stating all the company details. Once you have been created as a client, you will receive further instructions on how we work.

We rent out all kinds of large construction machinery, from (mini) excavators, rollers, telescopic handlers to scissor lifts and aerial work platforms. To get a better idea, you can download our catalog at the bottom of the page or search for the right machine via the ‘rental’ page.

Both are possible.

In most cases we deliver, these costs are also clearly stated in the quote. Orders placed before 4pm can practically always be delivered the next day. Same day deliveries should always be requested and considered on a case-by-case basis.

Pick-ups can be made from our 4 branches, but must always be requested/ordered in advance. This way we can guarantee with certainty that the correct machine is at the desired branch and that it will be checked before pick-up.

You can always request a price list or offer via the website or via sales@deryckeverhuur.be to know the exact price of your request.

Renting privately is possible, but keep in mind that as a private individual you have to pay a deposit and this type of request therefore takes a little longer than a request from a professional client.

You can only reach us during the weekend by phone on the general number +32 (0) 3 755 34 30 between 09:00 and 17:00. Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible so that we can help you properly.

We are open during the construction holidays, please note that this is at a reduced staffing level and therefore processing deliveries, emails and calls may take a little longer than normal.

We also ask that during this time you please anticipate your orders as much as possible to avoid late deliveries.

Renting per hour is not possible, our prices and subsequent rental options consist of daily, weekly and monthly prices.

You will receive the machine with a full tank and have two options. Either you ensure that the machine can be returned or picked up with a full tank or the fuel used will be charged to you via post-calculation.

Private individuals must always pay a deposit/rent in advance. Professional clients go through a credit check during their application to become a client and on this basis it is decided whether you have to pay a deposit or not.

You can reach us during the week each time by phone and by mail at the contact details of our headquarters in Beveren between 06:00 and 18:00. Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible so that we can help you properly.

When your rental has ended, you must terminate it in writing via email or the customer portal by deregistering the machine in question. When deregistering, you must ensure that the machine is ready for collection. You will also receive an email with clear instructions for this after deregistering.

You can request a quote via the website or via email. By email, you make sure that you clearly indicate which machine you need where and for how long and you also provide us with the details of a contact person. Via the website, you can first select the machine and then fill in the form.

You can place an order via the website or by email.

You must provide us with the following information by email:

  • Machine
  • Delivery address + plan or clear instructions
  • Rental period
  • Contact details of the person responsible on site
  • Possible things to take into account for delivery (closed yard, night delivery not possible, etc.)

You can first select the machine via the website and then fill in the form.

Existing customers can order, subject to availability and/or any other force majeure situations, until 4pm for delivery the next day before 7am.

New customers must order at least one day in advance to ensure we can complete the entire procedure correctly.

Telephone orders from existing customers are accepted but must always be confirmed in writing before final delivery is made.

We deliver throughout Belgium as standard, as a customer you will also receive our transport card for this. On request we also deliver in the Netherlands, Germany, France and Luxembourg.

In order to be able to deliver everyone on time before 7 am, we mainly do night deliveries. It is therefore important to indicate with your order if this would not be possible.

Urgent deliveries are possible subject to availability of the requested machine and a driver. An urgent delivery naturally also has an additional cost.

You can’t just go and pick up at a depot. If you want to rent a machine and pick it up yourself, you have to do this like any other order via email or the website where you can indicate a preference for a depot. We will contact you afterwards to confirm what the possibilities are.

Once you have unsubscribed the machine, you will receive an email from us with instructions and an indication of when we will pick it up. We will also contact you the day before the pick-up to make arrangements.

For most of the machines we rent you need a certificate of competence. We can therefore not be held responsible for damage or accidents resulting from incorrect use of the machine.

You can find the manuals in the machine itself, on the website on the product page or in the customer portal.

You can find the inspection document both in the machine itself or in the customer portal. Most of our machines are also equipped with a QR code that you can scan and there you can also find the inspection document.

It is very important that you report problems as soon as possible. You can report problems by email (td@deryckeverhuur.be), by phone at +32 (0) 3 755 34 30 or via the customer portal.

Our technical department will then assist you further and take the necessary steps together.

Our credit check determines whether you can pay by invoice and within what payment term.
